ascinated with buildings since the age of five, Robert Bacon proudly
designed his first custom home and saw it built while he was still in
high school. Bob's ambitions were realized early, and his body of experience
grew rapidly as he became involved in virtually all areas of the built
environment soon after studying architecture at Arizona State University.
Bob's zest for learning and passion for architecture are evident in all of his
creations. "I enjoy the fact that creating the built environment can involve
every aspect of human knowledge and experience," says Bob. His holistic
approach considers the site's climate, terrain and natural features as well
as the region's cultural heritage. Bob has founded several entrepreneurial
businesses, each of which focused on a unique niche in the design-building
industry—from energy management to hospitality, luxury residential and
commercial design. Today he is the president of Bacon Ventures and The
Bacon Collections, with offices in Arizona and New Hampshire. These
innovative consulting and design firms are renowned for community
planning and environmental design as well as for pioneering work in
information management and custom-quality, predesigned home packages
that serve builders, custom lot developers and end-user clients throughout
the United States.
