TOP LEFT: The beach house's central staircase cantilevers from the second story
as the oak treads appear to float in space. Steel rods create a wall that artistically
supports the treads. Although the feature is captivating to behold, it serves
another purpose—to keep the views of the waters as visible as possible from the
moment you enter.
MIDDLE LEFT: The spa-like bathroom features a clean shower, separated from the
rest of the room by a single piece of glass. Porcelain 8-by-2-inch tile walls add
to the serenity while the angled clerestory window and skylight flood the room
with ambient light.
