The 18th vintage of our renowned Zinfandel is fresh and vibrant
in its youth and crafted to maintain luster into the cellar as well.
Bursting with fragrant berry fruits combined with a slight, delicate
spice and a rich essence of cocoa, this opulent wine is brimming
with fruit up front, and then softly textured throughout, making it
luxurious and decadent.
winemaker's insight
The wine is sourced from our estate vineyard, planted in 1997 on
a thoughtfully selected 20-acre plot on Paso Robles' westside.
The Zinfandel vines are dry-farmed, head-trained, and the grapes
are night-hand harvested. It is neither fined nor filtered before
bottling. Out of all the wines from the cellar, this our customers'
top preferred entertaining wine, as it is always a crowd favorite.
The Zinfandel is available in traditional 750 ml wine bottles and
32 or 64-ounce growler bottles—perfect for sharing with friends.
APPELLATION: Paso Robles, Adelaida District
COMPOSITION: 100% Zinfandel
MATURATION: Aged for 14 months in 80 percent French and 20
percent American oak barrels.
CELLARING: Is vibrant and approachable now, but the precise balance
of acidity and tannins enable for long-term aging for 15-plus years.
