The wine is vibrant magenta in color with beautiful notes of fresh
cherry, cranberry, and raspberry.
winemaker's insight
The Pinot Noir fruit was hand-harvested at 25.2 Brix from the
Derbyshire Vineyard. It was destemmed at the winery and cold
soaked at 45 degrees for two days in a temperature-controlled
tank and then inoculated and fermented. Once dry, the lot
was gently pressed in a basket press, transferred to barrels,
inoculated with ML culture, and aged for 10 months.
