INSPIRED MODERN HOMES
FACING PAGE & BELOW: This home sits near the scenic Sacramento foothills, surrounded by treetops and rock
outcroppings. We wanted to capture the chiseled strength and natural beauty of the environment and used
elements to emphasize that. There are no other residences or buildings in sight, so it was important that the
house feel as if it was in its natural habitat and not take away from the landscape. Perched on a ridgetop, the
home is long, linear, and seems almost as if it is sliding down the hill.
