FACING PAGE TOP & BOTTOM: The architect uses the exterior of a home as other rooms and other spaces which provide many
interesting possibilities. The integration with the site and its landscaped surroundings was so important that the use of wood
and organic materials was essential to stay in harmony with the land. Southern California's Rancho Santa Fe is one of the most
beautiful places in the country, so the architect had every reason to highlight the environment.
