breezes, and limestone-rich soil, imparts a distinct minerality
to the wines, which include Chardonnay, Viognier, Syrah,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Tempranillo,
Garnacha, and Mourvedre. That original namesake blend that
Randy and Cheryl first made that fateful day has proved so
popular that they still bottle it under the name Kick-Off.
In 2010, Tiffani Morones joined Red Soles as its tasting room
manager. She introduces visitors to not only the award-winning
wines, but also to "Patience My Dear," the custom, handcrafted
Arnold Holstein still from Germany that the winery acquired in
2013. Red Soles was among the first wineries in Paso Robles
to secure a DSP (Distilled Spirits Plant) permit, which allows
them to make liquor, and lucky visitors can watch Patience
process wine into fine brandy.
TOP: Our 100-acre Miracles Ranch, with it's chalky limestone and afternoon
breeze, sits in the heart of the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles.
