A true family-owned-and-operated winery, Jerry has been
joined at J. Lohr by his three adult children: Steve, Cynthia,
and Lawrence Lohr—each of whom is a co-owner, and holds
a pivotal day-to-day role at the winery. Like their father, all
three have championed the regions that have helped to
make J. Lohr famous. As CEO, Steve played a key role in
shepherding the successful creation of 11 different sub-AVAs in
Paso Robles. Cynthia, J. Lohr's trade and brand advocate, was
instrumental in establishing the Paso Robles CAB Collective,
an organization dedicated to educating the world on the
phenomenal quality of the region's Cabernet Sauvignon and
red Bordeaux varieties. Lawrence works alongside Jerry in the
company's estate vineyards, and like his siblings, is often "in
market" representing the brand.
In addition to J. Lohr's pioneering role bringing Paso Robles
Cabernet to the world, the winery has also helped bring the
world to Paso Robles. The beautiful and inviting J. Lohr Paso
Robles Wine Center has consistently set the standard for
vineyard-driven red wines in Paso Robles, drawing wine lovers
from around the globe eager to taste J. Lohr's Cabernets
and Bordeaux-varietal reds, as well as its Pinot Noirs, Rhône-
varietal wines, and dazzling whites.
