Vincent Vineyards & Winery
SANTA YNEZ
Vincent Vineyards was established in 2007 and embraces an Old-World
theme with a love for Bordeaux wine. The winery's name has two significant
meanings. First, Vincent is the middle name of the establishment's patriarch,
Tony Vincent Zehenni, who often uses Vincent as his last name. Second, Saint
Vincent is the official patron saint of winemakers. The feast of Saint Vincent
is celebrated every year on January 22, which is ideal for winegrowers as it
symbolizes a midpoint in the vine's growing cycle.
Tony and Tanya Vincent operate the family-owned winery, and the staff
embraces the founder's tradition of quality and excellence. Vincent Vineyards
commits itself daily to the farming, winemaking, and customer experience
requisite to its quality estate wines. While visiting Santa Ynez, Tony and Tanya
fell in love with the undeniably charming area. They were looking for a new
adventure and decided to transform their passion for wine and hospitality
into the family business. The Vincents visited stunning wineries around the
world and were especially inspired by the French process of winemaking.
Their vines were imported from France and cultivated in the US before they
were planted in Santa Ynez.
The estate-grown wines are primarily Bordeaux varietals, although they do
offer Rhônes such as a Syrah, which won a gold medal in the first year of
production. Their award-winning Sauvignon-Blanc, Rose and Rose sparkling
wines are white wine lovers favorites. And in keeping with the annual tradition
of new reveals, they will introduce a Port in the fall. Those familiar with the
region know Santa Ynez is climatically ideal for wine growing–particularly the
