Tim also cultivates his interest in the traditional Rhône grapes
with several blocks planted to Grenache, Viognier, Roussanne,
Grenache Blanc, Piquepoul Blanc, Clairette Blanche, Mourvèdre,
and Counoise. What's Tim's secret to great winemaking? Ideal
climate and soils paired to a single-minded obsession with
quality. Tim exercises complete control of the process "from the
dirt to the bottle" for the winery's Dwarf Oak, Estate, Appellation,
and Reserve series wines. That passion and dedication has led
to Sarah's being awarded numerous 90-plus scores from the
likes of Wine Spectator Magazine.
Sarah's Vineyard is also one of the Central Coast's most popular
visitor destinations. The tasting room is open daily for sampling
just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley; it has
become a must-stop spot on any Pinot Noir fan's itinerary.
