CaliPaso Tempranillo is loaded with flavors of blueberries,
currants, and dark chocolate. The wine has a velvety mouth feel
with a lingering finish that is warm and fulfilling.
winemaker's insight
The CaliPaso Tempranillo is sourced from grapes that came from
vines that the winemaker, Alan Kinne, brought over from Spain
more than 20 years ago. He has several vineyards of Tempranillo
planted in the Paso Robles appellation and every year chooses
his favorite grapes from the vintage. The grapes are destemmed
and fermented using a combination of punch downs and pump
overs to gain maximum extraction

APPELLATION: Paso Robles
COMPOSITION: 100% Tempranillo
MATURATION: The finished wine is aged for over 24 months in a
combination of American and French oak (which is traditional in Spain)
with 25 percent new.
