CaliPaso Three Hounds Pinot Noir is one of our reserve wines.
Made from grapes from one of the finest vineyards in the Santa
Maria Valley, this wine was whole-cluster, barrel fermented with
gentle punch downs three times a day. After fermentation, the
wine was aged in the same combination of new and used French
oak barrels for an additional nine months prior to bottling. The
wine is classic Burgundian in style with a remarkable finesse.
APPELLATION: Santa Maria Valley
COMPOSITION: 100% Pinot Noir
MATURATION: Aged for nine months in a combination of 80 percent
neutral French oak and 20 percent new French oak.
CELLARING: This wine will age gracefully up to 10 years.
