In addition to the Marion family, including John's wife and son,
the winery team includes Jessica Carroll as Assistant Winemaker,
and Stephanie Rebiejo as Vice President and Club Manager.
The staff has an obvious passion for what they do and do an
excellent job of conveying the magic and hard work that goes
into every aspect of their craft. Priding themselves on the use of
traditional methods, the winemakers use minimal intervention
and yet, with methods such as co-fermentation, still practice
innovation.
Varietals change from year to year, but a few that always make
the cut include Petite Sirah, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and
Sangiovese. Obscure varietals are a specialty at Big White
House and John Evan, so if you're into that, keep an eye out for
upcoming features; they change every few years.
