FACING PAGE & BELOW: ARTISTRY is located in the Las Olas area of Fort Lauderdale, this infill site was only 67-and-a-half-feet-
wide, on both the main street and the alley, and provided me and my team with a unique design opportunity. The owner's criteria of
natural light and open spaces with a sense of privacy dictated a formal drive court in the front with garages off of the alley. Creating
a central outdoor pool courtyard became the focal point for all of the interior spaces, achieved through floor-to-ceiling pocketing
sliding glass doors. These gave the homeowners a high level of control and allow them to manipulate the space while enjoying the
abundant sunlight. For additional privacy and entertaining, a rooftop terrace provided more than 1,000 square feet to gaze on the
downtown skyline.
