INSPIRED MODERN HOMES
BELOW: When we built this house in Beaver Creek, Colorado, we were up against some strict building codes and architectural restrictions. Because
of the mandated height limit, we carved a floor into the landscape to create the space that the homeowners wanted.
FACING PAGE TOP: Inside, skiers can relax and unwind after a day on the slopes. Floor-to-ceiling windows capture the full beauty of the surrounding
mountains and have a ventilation feature on the bottom to let in fresh air.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: With no neighbors, this home didn't have privacy concerns and the windows didn't need treatments. This lets plenty of
sunshine in. Above the vanity, a window lets the natural light come through to the hidden toilet and shower, just behind it.
