BELOW & FACING PAGE: Bells Woods sits on a 23-acre site near Nashville, Tennessee, in an area rich with Southern tradition.
We were inspired by the surrounding 19th-century stone walls—dry-stacked and crenellated with jagged lines—Antebellum
plantation homes, and once-thriving farm structures. The modern home's hilltop perch rests behind a well-aged tobacco barn
and the meandering drive circles through a pasture and up to the house through a densely forested grove.
