THE MODERN RESIDENCE
TOP: We opted to not orient the main staircase in the traditional fashion in the entry foyer, instead hiding it from sight and making it
more functionally convenient for the family. The intriguing effect of the mahogany slats across the flat wall offers a sense of movement
while both warming the space and bringing in light to the stairwell.
BOTTOM: The open floor plan accommodates the kitchen, dining area, and living room in one large, interrelated space that
dynamically opens out to the patio and pool through the wall of glass. We customized the walnut dining table to precisely fit the
space; the walnut bar countertop in the kitchen cohesively unites these two zones.
