BELOW: Kitchens are a common gathering place in any home, so I wanted to keep that space open and accessible. The flow of the
kitchen to the breakfast room—and extending spaces—allows the area to accommodate large groups without feeling tight. It's a
comfortable, smart layout.
FACING PAGE: Behind the bar is a stone slab, which ties to the kitchen, where the same stone is used on the island. The bar gives the
dining room a festive, fun element and furthers the homeowner's wish to have a jazz-lounge feel.
