Gertler & Wente Architects is a Manhattan-based mid-size firm committed to

Larry J Wente, AIA LEED AP, has known that he wanted to be an architect
since age 11. He spent much of his youth drawing, painting, and designing
homes. He still carries that same passion and today, runs the firm with
Jeffrey J. Gertler, AIA. They develop a deep relationship with homeowners,
including having every client complete a preliminary questionnaire that asks
them to describe important place memories and abstract ideas related to
their dream home. It's an effective way to glean insight and allows them to
translate a homeowner's aspiration into built form.
