BELOW: In the O'Brien House, we created a sports memorabilia room for the homeowners. But, the hanging beams and the laylights above score just as big when
it comes to making a statement.

FACING PAGE TOP LEFT: We wanted the materials, textures, and the colors to do much of the visual architectural work in Lion House. So, we introduced a motif
of woven sticks, seen here in the staircase.
FACING PAGE TOP RIGHT: The stick-like motif repeats in the ceiling beams and warm woods to subliminally connect the interior with the exterior in the Lion House
living and dining room while low-profile furnishings ensure a modern, sleek finish.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: The Lion House was inspired by New England farmhouse design—and we upheld that classic vernacular while modernizing its interpretation
with an emphasis on seamless glass walls and clean lines. The connectedness between the interior and exterior is beautifully captured in the rear of the home, which
opens to the covered porch to extend the living room outdoors.
