THE MODERN RESIDENCE
BELOW: We developed the Ballantrae Court residence as a seasonal home in a South Florida golf community, responding to both
the client's desire for a modern design while embracing the context of Florida living and the community's aesthetic requirements.
The metal roof cladding along with natural stone walls and wood ceilings and decks reflect the vernacular building traditions of the
area. Extensive window walls afford seamless integration and visual connection to the outdoors, with the back of the house defined
by pavilions that extend into the landscape and look out to the golf course beyond.
FACING PAGE: At the main entry, the louvers, water garden, and river rocks create a sense of tranquility.
