ABOVE & LEFT: When LS3P was asked to update a weary and worn 1980s country-
style kitchen in this Charleston Single House, the owner embraced the idea that
the modern art of cooking could be enhanced by a modern kitchen. The spartan
lines of the contemporary kitchen meshed comfortably with the spartan lines of
the Single House and are unified by the juxtaposition of white against deeply
patinated hardwoods.
