Krsto Stamatovski, AIA, opened Studio K in 2002 after working
at architectural firms both internationally and within the U.S. Not
long after, he won the AIA People's Choice Design Award—and
his firm has been making waves ever since, designing a variety
of projects, including single and multi-family custom residential,
commercial, restaurant, and hospitality architecture as well as
interiors.
But, the vast majority of their projects are high-end, custom
single-family residences across the country, from Miami to
Manhattan, Colorado to California, the Hamptons, Idaho,
and beyond—many of which they design as second and third
residences for repeat clients.
Indeed, the firm considers their client interaction and
collaboration a key strength, together creating the best possible
living environment for each person's specific needs and lifestyle.
Likewise, they are continually striving to design innovative,
aesthetically pleasing spaces that seamlessly weave into the local
vernacular and environment.
The Studio K team is a family—literally and figuratively—with
Krsto serving as head architect, and his two daughters, Valentina
and Violeta, as architect and interior designer, respectively. They
work together to produce statement-making properties that
withstand the test of time and look beautiful many years down
the road.
