FACING PAGE & BELOW: The four-bedroom home sits on a five-acre site in semi-rural Racine, Wisconsin, clad in
red brick and cedar siding. It takes inspiration from Palladio's Villa Rotunda in Vicenza, Italy, which was based on
the classic 9-square planning system. The Villa Rotunda has a raised center portion with a dome above as its main
point of spatial drama.
