FACING PAGE: The home's new staircase provides an architectural moment, freeing the space from the confines of separated
levels, giving the house a focal point. When considering each next element of a project, rather than saying, "Where should we
put this?" whether it is an I-beam or a chair, we ask, "Where does this want to be?" Seeing the stairs there now, one cannot
imagine them any other way.

Completely rearranged, this master bedroom and bathroom found their perfect finishes and fixtures, drawing us into the
space, together with tranquility.
