Richard Luke Architects
LAS VEGAS, NV
Richard Luke Architects, established in Las Vegas in 1986, has come full
circle regarding its architectural design. Founder Richard Luke, AIA,
moved from Australia to the U.S. in 1984, having been schooled at the
Institute of Technology where clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic
were encouraged. Now, more than 30 years later, virtually 100 percent
of Luke's current designs are modern and contemporary, versus the
Mediterranean style that was until recently so popular in Las Vegas.
Luke is widely considered the signature architect for custom residential
designs in Las Vegas, having designed homes for founders of some of
the world's leading companies, as well as the CEOs of Fortune 100 firms
who are mainly referred from elated past clients, all of whom recognize
his laser-focus exciting designs, collaborative spirt, friendly demeanor,
and attention to detail. Known for plans that are open and spacious,
with an emphasis on natural light, Luke is always careful to not block
the magnificent views of the Las Vegas Strip—even his covered patios
are cantilevered out a minimum of 14 feet. Luke has designed some
of the most iconic homes in Las Vegas' most prestigious communities:
MacDonald Highlands, The Ridges, The Summit, Queensridge, Seven
Hills, Southern Highlands, Lake Las Vegas, and Anthem Country Club.
