THE MODERN RESIDENCE
BELOW: One of our first forays into a high-rise design was this Century City residence, and the real challenge was to take our aesthetic and put it into
a high-density home. Originally, the condo was large but dated, and the great view—which stretches all the way to Malibu and Santa Monica— was
obscured. Why would you want to face any other way than the window?
FACING PAGE: The condo had second floor that could only be accessed by a tiny spiral staircase, and that just wouldn't do. We installed a grand
staircase and replaced all the doors and windows, getting to entirely reshape the rooms as a result.
