Mark Stewart Home Design
SHERWOOD, OR
Mark Stewart has been designing homes most of his life, inspired by
a lifelong love of art art, design and the work of Frank Lloyd Wright,
Christopher Alexander, Richard Neutra, and Ralph Lauren, among others. He
began as an architectural drafting student at Estacada High School—even
designing the facade of the new Estacada Admin building in 1975—before
being offered full ride scholarships to an array of colleges. After studying
architecture at the University of Oregon and Portland State, Stewart left early
to gain practical experience.
At the age of 30, and directly coincident with taking formal vows as a
spiritual practitioner of The Way of The Heart-Adidam, Stewart's design
work, creativity, and intuition took a vast leap forward. Within a very short
time, he was producing some of the hottest designs in the country and
quickly amassed a loyal following of leading developers and homebuilders,
including the highest profile custom home commissions. Starting in 2007,
Stewart became a guest designer for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on
ABC, and in 2010, the firm began the process of re-creating the "full service
design experience" for its clients. The cutting-edge team provides the finest
in photo-realistic rendering and 3-D technology, so clients can feel fully
immersed in their new home prior to building it.
