The couple's love of classic Bollywood movies inspired a truly personalized sangeet. A little printing
wizardry created authentic-looking movie posters advertising the couple as the stars of their own
film, an entertaining touch that everyone remembered. When paired with the luscious bright colors
and playful décor, the effect was so fun. A traditional ceremony was held under a lavish mandap
created by Decor One, with flowers and crystals cascading down from the top in a dramatic fashion.
The lushness of the ceremony gave way to an elegant and sophisticated design by Darryl & Co.
for the reception. Delicate twigs and branches, supplemented by graceful white blooms, wound
their way up and throughout the room. The effect was very "enchanted forest," but the soft amber
lighting and subtle candle placement warmed the room with a sunny glow. We kept the DJ hidden
behind a chiffon curtain at the start of the reception, opening it for an exciting reveal when it was
time for the guests to let loose and begin dancing.
