66 Why have one wedding when you can have two? After the Hindu wedding in the morning, the inter- faith couple and their guests enjoyed lunch and then returned for the Christian ceremony. Mandap Creations rose to the task of designing a mandap that could serve as a beautiful backdrop for both events, with gorgeous flowing chiffon and a screen of floating candles. Archways highlighted by strands of crystals and flowers, as well as hanging flower balls furthered the romantic vibe. In contrast, the garba featured a vibrant peacock-inspired color scheme. Jolts of violet, sapphire, and turquoise lent the room an exotic aura, and using the bold hues on large swathes of space, such as the tablecloths and chair covers, made a bigger impact than restricting them to smaller details would have. The reception called to mind a hip New York club, thanks to the placement of the DJ near the entrance rather than at the back of the room. Overall the same room was redesigned and decorated three different times, often with less than two hours to complete a total transformation. DOUBLE WEDDING Romantic
