TEXAS-INSPIRED CELEBRATION
Rousing
East meets West, with the sangeet taking place at an authentic Texas ranch. From line dancing,
armadillo petting, a mechanical bull, and a green screen that let family and friends create their own
"Wanted" posters, the theme allowed everyone to let loose and enjoy a good old-fashioned party.
This sense of creativity extended to the reception, which employed a more sophisticated tone yet
still placed a priority on comfort and fun. Following the traditional ceremony in the morning, guests
moved on to cocktails that evening—which unfortunately wasn't planned to be in a space large
enough to accommodate everyone at once. It is helpful to have your coordinator at your side when
choosing a space, since we know what questions to ask and how to judge capacity. Rather than let
the lack of space ruin the cocktail hour, we decided to set it up within the reception hall and blend
seating options. Guests could either enjoy appetizers near the entrance or go ahead to their tables,
and no matter their choice the relaxed atmosphere encouraged everyone to mingle.
