With the beauty and culture of traditional ceremonies, each aspect makes it even more special—a
connection to the couple's heritage and a solid base for the start of a new life together. The bride
and groom's families helped greatly along the way, with the mother of the bride playing a huge
role in developing the overall vision. We originally planned for an outdoor wedding, but ended
up having to put a tent up for the garba and the ceremony to expand the seating capacity. Nalini,
the owner of Decor One, did a fabulous job with an indoor alternative for the mandap, creating a
beautiful setting of crimson and ruby flowers inside Belle Rose Maison in Conroe. Afterwards, at
the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel, cocktail hour began with tabla and sitar players filling the
peacock-inspired foyer with music. From there, guests transitioned into a ballroom draped in shades
of blush and champagne and adorned with dripping crystals and rose-petal ceiling enhancements
inspired by the iconic designs of Preston Bailey.
