LOUISVILLE PART II
E legant
Following their ceremony in Orlando, the bride and groom led all their guests to Louisville, the
groom's hometown, for another celebration. Friends and family played an intricate part in the
wedding, with a family friend even offering to host the sangeet for nearly 200 guests in her home.
What a friend! The ceremony itself was held at the groom's parents' home, where they went to great
lengths to prepare, even pouring concrete over the backyard to create a level surface for the tent
and decorations. Designs by Dennis Tapp and Boston's Floral Couture created the very vision of a
spectacular wedding, suspending a flower ring over a raised, tufted stage for the mandap. After
the ceremony, guests enjoyed appetizers inside the home while the tent was converted for dining
and dancing. But the spectacle had not yet ended. The following day saw another reception at the
hotel, with magnificent six-foot-tall trees as centerpieces and arbors made of greenery and flowers
framing the buffets. Moghul Caterers provided more than a dozen scrumptious stations—truly a
feast for the senses! Every detail was addressed, from the oversized picture frame the newlyweds
entered through to the slices of real wood as the chargers.
