AqUATIC ENTRANCE Memorable
The bride's wish was to walk on water, and while I couldn't make that exact desire happen, I could
team up with Darryl & Co. to come as close as humanly possible within her budget. A Zen aura
infused the ceremony, which had hints of a traditional Indian wedding while maintaining the bride's
individual vision. Together Darryl and I created a raised runway made out of lush green grass and an
intricate swirl of flower petals. The groom had to go down the same aisle, but how to accommodate
his procession without ruining the design? A stroke of genius from Darryl led to the construction of
a canopy, laid atop the grass and flowers, that was raised by eight uniformed staff members when
it was time for the bride's big entrance. And what an entrance it was! There wasn't a single jaw that
didn't drop when the wall of water parted and the bride appeared. We created a raised stage for
the couple's sweetheart table that was then repurposed as a raised dance floor, allowing everyone
to feel like the star of the show when it was time to let loose and dance.
