Judy Pickett
Founded in 1979, Design Lines Signature is the culmination of Judy Pickett's life work—but she didn't
originally set out for a career in interior design. Judy was attending Florida State University as a fashion
design major when her roommate candidly shared that Judy didn't quite have the cutthroat attitude to
make it in New York City's harsh world of fashion. The comment, as comical as it was, resonated with
Judy and she made the choice to shift her love of textiles and art into interior design—and never looked
back. Today, Judy and her team curate good design with a collaborative style in the full-service Raleigh-
based firm.
