Linda Knight Carr
Linda Knight Carr grew up in the interior design business—quite literally. Her father owned a flooring
company and when he accepted a job at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida, the family moved from
North Carolina when Linda was just four. He soon opened his own interior design store and she played in
the fabrics, sat on the worktable, and studied the accessories throughout her young years. Although it was
never her intention to follow in her father's footsteps, Linda began her Greensboro-based firm Knight Carr
& Company in 1985 and now works nationwide. Her only definable style is timeless beauty; Linda and her
team seek to create luxury and comfort in every space.
