2 INSPIRED INTERIORS
ABOVE: In "horse country," traditional design reigns—though there are definitely opportunities to include a modern flourish here and there. We worked with the architect
of Norris Architecture and kitchen designer Joey Olson on this charming Middleburg home that is welcoming and functional. Drink drawers next to the f ridge are topped
by a coffee bar, while double ovens handle the load of cooking for four kids and plenty of parties. A pot filler above the range was a must. Through a pocket door is an art
studio with its own fireplace, along with a walk-in pantry containing another f ridge, prep space, and plenty of storage.
FACING PAGE TOP & BOTTOM LEFT: Regina Andrews light fixtures are a focal point in what used to be a very dated, closed-in kitchen. We worked with the kitchen
designers to include multiple countertop levels and open up the space—large enough to where the new hood didn't seem imposing. The purple textile accents play off
the veining in the marble and soften the overall look. The gold bridge Brizo faucet ties in beautifully with the lighting and other finish details.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM RIGHT: Storage was a major priority, so a wall of built-ins was installed but practically disappeared thanks to the matching f ridge and pantry f ronts.
A glimmering visual triangle of gold is created by the Hudson Valley lights, Brizo kitchen faucet, and barstools.
