132 INSPIRED INTERIORS
ABOVE TOP LEFT: Unexpected flashes of shine can be found in this remodeled kitchen, f rom bits of mirror in the chevron-tiled backsplash to the stainless steel drawers
next to the cooktop.
ABOVE TOP RIGHT: One way to achieve a family-oriented, warm feeling is by painting the cabinets a happy blue. The wood floors and bamboo shades balance out the
bold color.
ABOVE BOTTOM LEFT: Giving a pop of color and expensive look (on a budget) is the contrasting fabric on the back of the barstools and pretty pattern that the tile is set.
ABOVE BOTTOM RIGHT: We kept the historic home's remodel feeling appropriate with little details like the turned legs on the island, traditional faucets, and printed
concrete tile backsplash. The inside of the cabinets is painted the same color as the island to make it reminiscent of a china cabinet.
