BELOW TOP: This cross-grain mahogany cabinetry is full of hidden compartments, including the f ridge and appliances. The hood is tiled with textured large-format tile,
the same as the backsplash, to blend seamlessly.
BELOW BOTTOM: Another instance where I painted the inside of cabinets the same color as island, which—along with the cast stone hood and patterned backsplash—
provide the traditional feel that's balanced by the modern commercial appliances.
