183 RIGHT & BELOW: There is a sense of scale, proportion, and balance in all of our projects, including in this dining room and bar. We incorporated the owner's favorite color—green—in various shades throughout the design, along with whites and creams. The textured rug, wallpaper, and window treatments all feature green hues. The maple bar cabinetry is Wood-Mode vista door style in a matte eclipse stain that allows the natural wood grain to show through, revealing a warm, organic pattern. The bar counter is made of tanzanite quartzite with mesmerizing veins of green, blue, and taupe, accentuated by the black walnut floating shelf f rom Dassoulas Custom Woodwork. FACING PAGE TOP: The tall cabinet in the corner of the dining room provides easily accessible pantry space. Unique in its finish and style, featuring matte eclipse stain on maple f rom the kitchen cabinetry, it's a great complement and anchor to the dining space. The kitchen holds the homeowner's everyday essentials, but this was an ideal spot for special occasion storage. We designed the custom table in European brown quarter-sawn oak with metal legs and edging. FACING PAGE BOTTOM: To emphasize, display, and protect the homeowner's beautiful china she inherited f rom her grandmother, we designed elegant built- ins featuring Wood-Mode edgemont recessed-square door style cabinetry in matte eclipse stain on maple. The custom grilles in a scalloped-shell pattern are by Architectural Grille. The wall of cabinetry f rames the entry to the kitchen and feels like it has always been there, adding a polished finish to the dining space. The antique lighting and classic wallpaper f rom Schumacher create a serene space the owners enjoy with family and f riends.
