ABOVE LEFT: We chose sculptural Panton chairs to make a bold statement, but they're also a practical choice for a lake house (and vacation rental). The tall sloped ceiling
led us to select this funky multi-level light fixture. The Barrel o' Monkeys piece by Dallas artist Michael Shellis set the playful tone and vibrant color palette for the rest of
the home.
ABOVE RIGHT: This oversized piece of art commissioned f rom Michael Shellis deserves to be the focus of this dining space. Architecturally, we have that fantastic floating
staircase and warm tongue-and-groove ceiling. We chose a black Danish modern dining table and classic Eames chairs, again for that pop of complementary color but
also for easy care at the lake.
