ABOVE: Because the focal point of this empty nesters' home, located in a historic district, is the backyard with its lush gardens and pool, we added a large kitchen window
which is flanked by aspect library sconces centered on the opening f rom the dining room, to take advantage of the views. In addition, the butler's pantry was expanded
to serve as a daily breakfast bar for coffee and tea, while transitioning to a formal space for cocktails in the evening. A mixture of warm elements, including the Lewis Dolin
satin brass pulls and glass round knobs on the Wood-Mode vintage Dover Cliffs maple cabinets, Rohl farmhouse sink, and Hansgrohe faucets, finish the space. Thibaut
wallpaper and Pratt & Larson textured field tiles add to the kitchen's soft elegance. Urban Country counter stools pair beautifully with the knotty alder island.
