BELOW: To begin this kitchen, we had to completely demolish what was originally there: an inefficient layout with
minimal natural light. We took out a wall, reconfigured an entry closet, removed a door, closed the doorway, and enlarged
the opening to the great room. These changes helped with the cramped space and feeling of isolation. Custom oak
vertical-grain cabinets, Cinnamon Ice granite countertops, and natural britannium hardware give the kitchen its luxe look.
FACING PAGE: Originally a two-story space, this kitchen needed adequate lighting. In order to do that, we suspended
circular, low-hanging pendants above the island.
