ABOVE, FACING PAGE TOP & BOTTOM LEFT: This young couple's dream home had two specific criteria: be open to nature and support a professionally trained home chef.
Positioning the range on the island allows her to face her guests as she's cooking, while the wall of windows practically erases the barrier between indoors and out. The
island's waterfall edge enhances the inherent movement in the stone slab, and the navy cabinets feel traditional yet f resh.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM RIGHT: To up the drama in the wet bar off the kitchen, we fashioned a backsplash entirely out of antique mirrored glass. The soaring ceilings initially
posed a challenge for lighting, but with the help of builder Scott Daves Construction we created a plan with fixtures placed just so to create a functional and beautifully
layered look.
