BELOW: This home underwent such a renovation that Fred Nordahl Construction, Inc. took the entire roof off, and Alexander Design Group designed an entire second
story add-on. This meant that I got to start the modern farmhouse kitchen entirely f rom scratch, so I put in black-trimmed windows to really make the white materials pop
and show off the lake views. A built-in breakfast banquette, Cambria countertops, custom inset cabinetry, and high-end appliances are supported by a butler's pantry and
three-season attached porch. The nickel gap ceiling and four-inch white oak flooring recede to let the handmade mosaic backsplash in Carrara and Calacatta marble shine.
