BELOW TOP: The gold trim was already there, so we worked with it and wallpapered inside the molding. More casual finishes balance the look.

BELOW BOTTOM RIGHT: Now that her nine children had grown up and moved out, the mother celebrated by redoing the entire first floor. She loves color and had a china
collection featuring a gorgeous coral, so we amplified that with artwork and new chairs. Neutral wallpaper, a custom table and cabinet, and existing chandelier supported
the fun palette.
