BELOW TOP: Reidentified as a sitting area, this room was originally a formal dining room. We opened it up and used sconces for additional lighting so it can be used for
reading and relaxing. And because it's just off the kitchen, the space is also ideal for sharing coffee or enjoying pre-dinner cocktails.
BELOW BOTTOM: Our goal for this family room was to create balance and livability with a Coastal California-meets-Texas-hospitality vibe. We achieved harmony by
selecting furniture that works well with the room's large light fixture. As the main gathering spot for a close-knit family of four, this space had to feature performance
fabrics. Wine spills, food drops, muddy dog paws, and heavy traffic are fine here, as we opted for stain-resistant, organic materials.
