ABOVE LEFT: This home bar is an integral part of the living room, so everything was
custom-built. A mirrored back is complemented by a quartzite waterfall countertop
and V-groove wood boards on the inside.
ABOVE RIGHT: The homeowner is very into whiskey, so we made sure to include lots
of display space for notable bottles. A white glass backsplash and durable quartzite
counter, along with some moody navy paint, make this extension of the pantry and
kitchen its own unique space.
LEFT: What would you use for the walls in a wine cellar if not cork? A barrel brick
ceiling echoes the shape of the bottles, while angled display storage along the side
shows off prominent vintages.
FACING PAGE TOP: This happy laundry feels like it's been there forever in this historic
house, thanks to porcelain knobs on the cabinets, a retro light fixture, botanical fabric
on the curtains, and celery-colored paint. The backsplash has some iridescence to it,
giving the whole room a magical feel.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: It's not so much a master closet as it is a small boutique,
with plenty of glass and doors to ensure the clothes stay dust-f ree.
