"Becoming an influence in someone's
environment is a privilege."
—Linda Knight Carr
ABOVE LEFT: While adding storage in a dining room appointed with English 18th-century furniture, I introduced a lighter mood. Minding restrictions of space, I designed a
custom cabinet perfectly proportioned to store the clients' china. The painted finish is layered in multiple shades of cream and umber, while the top has been faux marbled.
ABOVE RIGHT: In a bright contemporary seating space with a grouping of four facing chairs, there needed to be an ottoman with a perfect circumference and height for
the chair seats. To make this piece more playful, I connected with a source that makes Lucite furniture legs and had the ottoman built with five of these legs and a fabric
that exuded the fun feeling of the space.
