246 INSPIRED INTERIORS
ABOVE: In a complete master suite remodel, the original space combined two strangely angled teal and burgundy rooms that had been filled with awkward moldings and
a less than desirable use of space. The bedroom sitting area and main area were previously divided by a brass fireplace. While the bedroom floorplan had an abundance
of space, the bathroom lacked functionality. With a love of color, the couple desired a room filled with artistic modern colors in a spa-like oasis. With a starting point of a
showstopping bold abstract rug, we selected spainspired teals mixed with romantic furnishings. Custom teal swivel chairs allow the couple to sit and turn to enjoy the
garden out the window. Using new decorative trims and moldings, the tray cover ceiling's ambient lighting is concealed. Mirrors are placed throughout in various forms
and functions in both the master suite and bathroom, allowing natural light to reflect into and around the space. The sheer window panels allow the couple privacy
without blocking the picturesque garden view.
